By installing or using PoolPilot ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
PoolPilot is a paid Android application that lets you control a Hayward OmniLogic pool controller you own, over your local Wi-Fi network, using the controller's documented network protocol. The app does not connect to any cloud service operated by the publisher.
PoolPilot is a one-time paid app sold through Google Play. Purchases, taxes, and refunds are handled by Google Play under their policies. If you request a refund within Google Play's automatic refund window, Google will process it directly. For refund requests outside that window, contact support@envygroupinc.com and we will work with Google to review your case.
PoolPilot requires (a) an Android device running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later, (b) a Hayward OmniLogic pool control system on your local network, and (c) both devices on the same Wi-Fi network. Hayward may change its controller firmware in a way that breaks compatibility. We will make reasonable efforts to keep PoolPilot working, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every future firmware release.
PoolPilot is an independent product. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Hayward Industries, Inc. "Hayward" and "OmniLogic" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used solely for compatibility identification.
PoolPilot is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher, its owners, and its agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, water, chemicals, pool equipment, or any pool or spa itself — arising out of or related to your use of the app. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to stop using it and request a refund through Google Play.
You are responsible for the safe operation of your pool and its equipment. PoolPilot issues commands you request; it does not know your pool's chemistry, your local regulations, or the physical state of your equipment. Do not use PoolPilot as a substitute for professional pool servicing, freeze-protection routines, or safety interlocks. Always follow Hayward's operating instructions and your local safety codes.
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy at the URL published in the Play Store listing. In short: no account, no personal information collected, anonymous usage analytics via Google Firebase only.
If we change these terms, the updated version will be posted at this URL and take effect on posting. Continued use of the app after that constitutes acceptance.
